The program starts a journey for high school students to be a part of a rewarding career as a diesel technician. Paid intern programs, on the job training and extended educational opportunities with Utah technical colleges are all a part of fulfilling careers in the diesel industry. This program is piloted by the Utah State Board of Education, GOED, Department of Workforce Services, and supported by local high schools, higher education and industry partners.
